Local to Grand Rapids
We’re not a national franchise. We’re a West Michigan company that knows the local rental market. We work with single-unit hosts and multi-property operators alike
We Only Use Baby-Safe Cleaning Products
Standard commercial cleaning products are formulated for cleaning power, not for the environment a newborn will be spending time in. Conventional cleaners often leave chemical residues, strong fragrances, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on surfaces that are fine for adult households but worth reconsidering before a baby arrives.
Baby-safe Cleaning Standards
- Fragrance-free product options available throughout your home on request
- Non-toxic, residue-minimal formulations used in the nursery by default
- We avoid chlorine bleach in baby spaces and opt for hydrogen-peroxide-based disinfection
- No synthetic air fresheners or fragrance masking agents used during or after the clean
- Fully rinsed surfaces in areas where baby skin contact is likely (changing table, crib rails, floor)
- We’ll discuss your product preferences in advance and bring accordingly
If you have specific product requirements, a brand you’ve already researched, a sensitivity concern, or a preference for entirely plant-based cleaning, let us know when you book. We’ll accommodate where we can and be transparent when something won’t work for the cleaning task at hand.

Why This Is Different From a Regular Deep Clean
A standard deep clean focuses on visible dirt and surface grime. A New Baby Home Reset goes further, because a newborn’s world is mostly floor-level, and because their immune system is still developing in ways that make indoor air quality and surface cleanliness genuinely matter.
What we prioritize differently for a baby reset: We pay particular attention to floors, baseboards, and low surfaces, the areas a crawling or floor-lying newborn will be closest to. We avoid harsh chemical residues in nurseries, play areas, and any room where the baby will spend significant time. We treat fabric surfaces, upholstery, and soft furnishings as part of the clean, not an afterthought.
We also understand that nesting is real. Many families want this clean done in the final weeks before their due date, when the urge to have everything in order is strongest. We schedule accordingly, including flexibility if your baby decides to arrive ahead of schedule.
West Michigan Homes Have Specific Pre-Baby Cleaning Needs
Living in Grand Rapids means your home has been through a full cycle of Michigan’s seasonal extremes before your baby arrives. That matters more than most parents realize.
Winter heating season residue
After a West Michigan winter, months of recirculated heating air have deposited fine dust on every surface, baseboards, window sills, ceiling fan blades, cabinet tops, and inside heating vents. If your baby is due in spring or early summer, a pre-arrival clean is the right time to clear that seasonal accumulation before it becomes the air your newborn breathes.
Great Lakes humidity and moisture
Grand Rapids’ proximity to Lake Michigan means spring and summer bring genuine humidity. Bathrooms, basement-level rooms, and older homes with less ventilation can hold moisture in ways that encourage mold and mildew in corners and grout lines, areas that need specific attention before a baby arrives.
Michigan allergy season and pollen
Spring in West Michigan means heavy tree and grass pollen. If your baby is due in April, May, or June, pollen that has settled on surfaces and worked its way into upholstery over the season is worth removing before you bring a newborn home. We pay close attention to fabric surfaces, entry areas, and window sills where pollen tends to concentrate.
Older Grand Rapids housing stock
Heritage Hill, Eastown, Creston, the West Side, and many other Grand Rapids neighborhoods are full of beautiful older homes, but older homes accumulate particulates in ways newer construction doesn’t. Lead paint surfaces that need to be cleaned carefully, original hardwoods with gaps that trap dust, radiator systems that stir settled debris, these are real considerations in a pre-baby deep clean. Our team is experienced with older West Michigan homes.

Before and After
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 3–4 weeks before your target clean date, especially if your due date falls in spring or early summer when demand is higher. That said, contact us even if you’re booking closer to your due date, we’ll do our best to find a slot that works.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
You’re welcome to be home, but you don’t need to be. Many families in the final weeks of pregnancy prefer to take the day out, a walk, a lunch, an errand run. We’ll confirm completion and let you know when we’re done. Access arrangements (lockbox, key, etc.) can be discussed when you book.
How long does the New Baby Home Reset take?
Most homes take between 4 and 7 hours depending on square footage, number of bedrooms, and condition. We’ll give you a realistic time estimate before your scheduled date. We don’t rush the clean to hit a clock, we finish when everything on the checklist is done.
Is this the same as your move-in cleaning?
There’s overlap, but the New Baby Home Reset has a different focus. Move-in cleans are designed to address what a previous occupant left behind. A baby reset is focused on the specific standards a newborn’s environment requires, fragrance-free products, low-surface priority, nursery-first sequencing, and particular attention to air quality considerations like vents, fans, and upholstery.
What if my baby comes before the scheduled clean?
Contact us as soon as you know, we’ll reschedule at no penalty. We can also pivot to an after-birth home reset so you come home from the hospital to a freshly cleaned house. We understand plans change in the final weeks of pregnancy and we won’t hold you to a rigid schedule.

After our kitchen remodel, the post-construction dust was everywhere, and I didn’t think it would ever come out. Their team handled every bit of it, baseboards to light fixtures, and even got the salt stains off the entry tile. Now we have them out every two weeks. Easily the best money we spend on the house.”
